Twinnie Posted August 20, 2011 Share Posted August 20, 2011 Sorry to have to make a begging thread to throw in with all the other but I've been working on this for ages and I haven't really gotten anywhere. I'm installing from a USB using the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R and I'm following the guide on here which reports that no one else is having my problem, at least not anyone who's posted in that thread. The things I've tried (in assorted combinations) are: -x cpus=1 npci=0x2000 graphicsenabler=no Removing other hard drives and DVD drive All sorts of Chameleon versions Removing PCI cards Disabling sound Copying various kexts from my SL install I didn't fiddle with a lot of the files because a few zipz were provided in the guide that should contain everything I need. The graphics card is an 8800GTS which has always worked fine so I left it in here. The final text I'm getting is as follows, I always get an instant reboot a split second after this text so this is ripped from me filming the final moments. Hello I also have same problem of instant restart on my Laptop(Intel i5 @ 480M 2.66 HM65 motherboard) I tried busratio=17 kernel flag to get into installation check your specification and choose correct busratio Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
