HELLFISH
Ok, my console is being spammed with: Finder: copyPrimaryAirPortInterface::ACInterfaceDeviceNameCopy returned NULL Finder: _CSIsWirelessP2PEnabled::copyPrimaryAirPortInterface failed Everytime I use Finder, every directory click spams that to the console. I have no wireless adapter in the computer, so not sure where that is coming from. Anyone else???
nyolc8
I am (and some people) getting this too. I started a topic with the same thing a month ago, but no solution yet.
HELLFISH
Well, that bites. Thanks for the reply anyway. I'm looking through my logs, and notice that I haven't always had this problem. It started on August 12th, after running a couple of weeks cleanly. I see this: 8/12/11 3:12:33.656 PM configd: LINKLOCAL en0: parent has no IP 8/12/11 3:12:38.000 PM kernel: [InterruptReadHandler] Received kIODeviceNotResponding error - retrying: 4. 8/12/11 3:12:38.924 PM configd: network configuration changed. 8/12/11 3:12:39.477 PM applepushserviced: <APSCourier: 0x108119440>: Stream error occurred for <APSTCPStream: 0x7fe77b61d6f0>: The operation couldn’t be completed. Socket is not connected 8/12/11 3:12:40.719 PM configd: network configuration changed. 8/12/11 3:12:55.131 PM UserEventAgent: ServermgrdRegistration cannot load config data 8/12/11 3:12:55.131 PM UserEventAgent: ServermgrdRegistration oldConfig is nil during net changed notification 8/12/11 3:12:59.701 PM Finder: copyPrimaryAirPortInterface::ACInterfaceDeviceNameCopy returned NULL 8/12/11 3:12:59.701 PM Finder: _CSIsWirelessP2PEnabled::copyPrimaryAirPortInterface failed So something changed the network configuration, which started the problem. I'm going to troubleshoot a little further....
ckuehne
Any update on this? I've been getting the same error messages whenever I'm changing folders I in the Finder - I also do not have any AirPort hardware installed... Thank you for your time. HELLFISH
I haven't been able to find a solution, and I also don't have any wireless devices installed. I tried deleting pref files, network configs, etc... can't seem to shake it. Luckily, doesn't seem to cause any problems with the machine, just fills the console with spam when using finder. o_O
nyolc8
I saw on an other site that this error is present on real Mac Pro (older model) too. So this is not a hackintosh-related error. I think this is just because we don't have a wifi device in the computer.
