Last year I had SL set up on a Virtual Box VM, but I don't remember which SL version I used then or which guide I used. I'm getting back into learning different OS's now and want to test SL along with my Windows 8, various Linux Distros, and PCBSD Isotope Unix Os's.

Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard - is the ISO disk I am using and I am using this guide: http://khansinfo.blogspot.com/2011/02/how-...leopard-in.html

My Host is a win 7 64 bit with 4 gigs of ram. My VirtualBox version is 4.0.12

I read somewhere it was suggested that the other person who had this problem was told they did not set up the partition - How could the partition not be set up as VBox has already done that?

Or is this actually caused by another problem?

To fix that you go into utilities then disk utilities and then the vbox disk and go to erease and then reformat it there

Thanks.. Er.. the instructions did say that but I could not find the Utilities.. all I had to do was scroll up and I didn't realize the window wasn't in full screen. I thought the utilities option was just not showing up.

That's the reason I'm a RougeAgent, got kicked out of the unit for not paying attention to details. LOL Sorry... It seems to be installing fine now.

Edit:

O.k. it installed But it does not find bootable media on startup. I remember reading this may be because it will work better in IDE instead of SATA so I switched the OSX.vdi to IDE and got the same message. I tried switching the boot order to see the virtual hard drive first and then got the error " could not read from media"

Ideas?
