gwelmarten
Hi I would like to install OSX Server onto a Dell Poweredge server. I would be happy installing either Lion or Snow Leopard and had planned on using a copy of RebelEFI which I still have. From my research, I think it will work and run smoothly, however I was just hoping someone would be able to confirm this for me. I am looking at using any of; - Dell PowerEdge 2650 Dual Xeon 3.2Ghz HT 8GB RAM Server - Dell PowerEdge 850 Dual Core 3.0Ghz 4GB 1U SATA Server - Dell 2650 Dual Xeon 3.2Ghz HT 8GB RAM Server 146GB RAID If someone could confirm compatibility with any of these, I would much appreciate it. Thanks in advanced, Sam Heather

Thanks in advanced, Sam Heather Why not just try it out? I've tried installing server on a dell power edge r610 but got KP's about HPET. Need an existing installation to sort out the DSDT, it might also {censored} about the RAID controllers, it being SAS.
beecher
Don't use rebel efi 1) It has not been updated in a long time 2) It's a commercial sulotion Instead use nawcoms mod cd, myhack or empire efi
