RB34
"I was busy smearing chewed up cookie onto my daddy's new Hackintosh screen and I'm very small so I had to crawl on the keyboard so I could reach it. Suddenly the screen went all dark and now daddy is annoyed with me because now it won't work anymore." I don't know how he did it, but in about 10 seconds crawling on the keyboard he managed to turn off the laptop and now it won't boot up. I'm actually more impressed than angry, I don't think I could break a computer that quickly. When I try to turn it on it says Boot0: Testing Boot0: Done and won't get any further. I have now figured out what he did was rename the harddrive to ]ubv -[ew9ii\-p;555555555... Apparently it's something to do with the spaces in the name that causes the problem in booting. Does anybody know how to change this back when you can't boot in? I am trying the install disk I have which lets me get to disk utility, but I can't see how to change the HD name from there either. Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance.
