And also what about the two lines in boot.plist to declare the DSDT ? <key>DSDT</key> <string>/Extra/DSDT</string> Thanks and sorry if there is a redundancy in my questions ;-) ! Ps : for enabling CStates and Pstates it is correct to use Chameleon 2 RC5 VS 1200 ? Because right now I'm just using RC4. Dyolp
Ps : Here is detailed files that I extract under Linux (CdLive) (I joined also the final DSDT). I have understood that those files contain deeper informations about the hardware of my laptop. I wonder and my purpose is to get the maximum of my component natively through the DSDT that you have generously corrected. I Think about : 1. sound; 2. Speedstep (to settle the management of the power management natively, and may be better than enabling Cstates and Pstates via Chameleon RC5); 3. The 64 bit (because I don't have right now : pc starts in 32bits); 4. The camera; 5. improving the components Dectection im smsbios, 5. and finally May be others fine-tunings ? Can you take a look please ? Another time great thanks in advance for you efforts,
Dyolp
I think it was your last post for those problems ;-) If it's the case I want to thank you a lot for your efforts ! Dyolp
Hello MaLdOn, After our mails exchange, I've done a clean install of Snow Leopard using the latest DSDT and extra you generously helped me to generate ! I still need your help for the following difficulties : During boot I have to boot using -v. Otherwise, the system stops and asks me to restart (No KP!). (For information, after Snow Leopard installation, I copy the Extra folder and installed Chameleon-2.0-RC5-r1083, that's all. After I updated. I am now under 10.6.8.) Also, I can not get SnowLeopard in 64 bits. Also, the trackpad no longer works and I have no battery indicator. Here are the files Extra, Send_me and the result of the two following commands : 1. ioreg -lw0 | grep PerformanceStateArray 2. ioreg -lw0 | grep AICPMVers Big thank you in advance for taking a look at the files and guiding to resolve those problems ;-) Loyd
