Quicktime on Lion not playing any video files [SOLVED]

I've got Lion installed on my Hackintosh (G41M, Core2Duo, Nvidia 8400GS). It's working perfectly except for one really big problem: Quicktime doesn't work!

It's a clean install, so there are no upgrade problems. I've installed Perian 1.2.3 and Flip4Mac.

When playing an avi file it gives me a -101 unknown error. When playing an .mpg or .wmv it starts loading the file and then says "operation could not be completed".

I don't have DivX installed, so there is no conflict. I tried extracting the quicktime app from the essentials.pkg but pacifist just crashed on me.

VLC plays all the videos just fine, so there is no problem with the videos. Also the same videos worked fine under SL.

I don't know if this is the correct forum to place this question, but can anyone help me out? I don't want to reinstall Lion unless I have to, because everything else is working peachily :wallbash:

UPDATE: It was a buggy audio setup. I cleaned out all HDA kexts, reinstalled VoodooHDA and it works!
