In order to speed up my boot time especially when using verbose I implemented the pre linked kernel in my Lion setup.

When I boot I get the following errors.

Jul 31 17:56:31 localhost kernel[0]: kxld[com.apple.iokit.IOFireWireIP]: The super class vtable '__ZTV19IONetworkController' for vtable '__ZTV14IOFWController' is out of date. Make sure your kext has been built against the correct headers.

The errors seem to involve com.apple.iokit.IOFireWireIP and com.apple.iokit.IOUserEthernet. Is anyone else seeing this? My ethernet works fine. I never use firewire so I don't know if its affected. Other than these errors appearing on the screen the system runs fine. I have the usual FaceTime issue. But I used the 755 trick and it works now.
