Please add some details about vendor / card type.

Also if you use vanilla lion drivers or modded them and if you use chameleon as graphics enabler or some other gpu init/enabler.

Also if you get KPs after some time - if yes, it would be also good to have that card working in general but for sure its not perfect :)

GTX 460 SE is the EVGA card.

Mine works great following this guide here.

Even dual display works - one through DVI (monitor) and one HDMI (Tv).

@NightDemon

From the Fermi thread it would appear that you would have to edit the plsit file with your specific card IDs, use Aty_init as an enabler if your card still doesn't fully work. Regarding CUDA and Open CL, everything is in the thread that Raulllll linked to as I've tried it on a gtx 460 (not the SE version) and it worked fine with the aforementioned enabled.

Take out graphics enabler out of your boot plist if you already have it set as it supposedly breaks 3D apps.

you mean the a8 83 f8 02 8b 45 f0 part?

that's in /System/Library/Extensions/GeForceGLDriver.bundle/Contents/MacOS/GeForceGLDriver

you need to hexedit that to enable open CL although I personally never got it to work so I just shoved my ati card back in for the sake of having open cl.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't seem to get it to work. When I edit the file and it loads, no graphical server - it stays, usually, at DSMOS has arrived, but some times my wired network adapter takes a little longer to connect, so it will end on that occasionally. <- That was my round about way of saying I know that it boots, but doesn't load the graphical server.

If I remove NVDAGF100Hal.kext, it starts the GUI in VESA, and everything works, minus resolution and gfx acceleration.

Mac is able to recognize my card with all of the right specs, but won't give me full resolution or QE/CI. Any ideas?

Update

Well, I figured out the problem. It was my IOPCIFamily+AppleACPI kexts. Had to use the ones from 10.6.7.
