Just a couple of days ago, My iBook G4 started to go nuts. It first happened when I installed limewire 4.12. After finding out that limewire loves to hog memory, I got rid of it via AppZapper (It get's rid of the app, prefs, folders, anything related to limewire.) Anyway, ever since then, on boot up, logging in, running an app, or just idleing, it will freeze up and PANIC!!! I have no idea what to do. It's been 6 months since I started using a mac, so I'm still a noob at this, however, I'm really good in the unix/bash shell commands/language. Why is it doing this? and how do I run a diagnostic from the disk during boot up?

Thanks!!

EDIT: I found out how to boot from cd.

UPDATE: Okay, I was trying to boot from CD but now it won't let me. And now the kernel panic is turing into exception codes all over the screen. What the Hell.

UPDATE2: Finnaly I booted into the CD. I ran a disk repair and repair permissions. However, everything checked out OK. Here I am relived, then I reboot and BOOM!!! another Panic. Im about to go nuts!!!

Final UPDATE: OK. I remoed the additional RAM and guess what...No More Panics. Apperently the additional RAM is not compadible with MAC OS X (in other words OS X is sensitive to it). Like I said, Im a noob :)
