I have searched this loads and from what I gather its possible but I cant find a good tutorial how. I tried installing but when booting the screen went all glitchy and froze. I have 4330 graphics card and thats the only difference between mine and what the tutorial was using. I don't know what a kext is I have no idea what GRUB is. Please tell me how to do it! Thanks for all replies.

I have the same graphic card too, but I was able to get Mac OS X 10.6.3 Installed, but sadly it kernel panics and so far no one here has helped me either.

Maybe you could give detailed specs of your system? There are different builds for every laptop and not all of them have the same specs.

A kext is sort of the equivalent of a Windows driver. That's the easiest way I can think of explaining it. It isn't EXACTLY the same though.

GRUB is a boot menu for loading multiple operating system. It's usually installed when you install a linux based operating system.

I'll be happy to help you out but you, just like me when I first started out creating a hackintosh, will have to do background reading into this stuff and not expect everything to be spoon fed. Here's the tonymacx86 tutorial to install Snow Leopard: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ibo...ac-os-x-on.html

Look for posts by other users who have similar hardware as you, and find out how they got it working. They don't have to have the same system as you for the solution to work but if they do, it's usually a jackpot.
