medorpg Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Hello everyone, I installed Lion successfully but there's a problem when booting I get kernel panic says "CPU 7 has no HPET assigned to it" some people said to install NullCPUPowerManagement.kext so I gave it a shot and now I get ACPI_SMC_PLATFOMPLUGIN:: START_waitingforservice(resourceMatching(appleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out I have Chameleon RC5 r1187 which I manually installed I can boot with the one installed with Chameleon Wizard (As I recall it was r750) but no QE/CI (Graphics Card: ATI Gigabyte HD 4670 1024 MB) So someone told me to install the latest trunk chameleon to make it work but as I said above I get this error messages also I tried to boot with -x PCIRootUID=1 but no luck either (I use no DSDT.aml) (I have also a fully functional 10.6.8 which I'm posting from right now and the Lion on different Hard Disk) I'm really desperate and need your help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
