St2333
If you do, please share how you where able to make it work. The only thing that's worked for me is VoodooHDA: http://code.google.com/p/voodoohda/downloads/list Download and install the 2.7.2 installer. I get loud pops during boot and while muting, but it works fine the rest of the time. Better than no sound!

Check "Use SSE2" and "Enhance stereo", then you will no longer hear pop sound when in Lion, except for booting. At least it works for my mobo

Wing123
I too have sound working with AppleHDA, as above. My problem is that my optical drive isn't recognized by Lion. Any thoughts? I've been all over the forums, here, and on other sites, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. EDIT: Solved! All I needed, it turns out, was the JMicron386xATA.kext. So my P5K-E Wifi Mobo is now fully working with Lion.
