Hi Pros

Finally i have Lion booting from hard disc

My Specs

Gigabyte P55-USB3

Nvidia GTX 275

Core i5 2,8

8 Gigs of Ram

Everything works except build in Audio and the GTX 275

This is how my Boot.plist looks like:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>arch=i386</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>5</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

In my Extensions Folder i have:

ATY_Init.kext

EvOreboot.kext

FakeSMC.kext

JMicronATA.kext

LegacyAppleRTC.kext

NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

NVEnabler.kext

Strange thing , MY system shows the GTX 275:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275:

Chipsatz-Modell: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275

Typ: GPU

Bus: PCIe

PCIe-Lane-Breite: x8

VRAM (gesamt): 896 MB

Hersteller: NVIDIA (0x10de)

Geräte-ID: 0x05e6

Versions-ID: 0x00a1

ROM-Version: netkas.org

Monitore:

Monitor:

Auflösung: 1024 x 768

Pixeltiefe: 32-Bit Farbe (ARGB8888)

Hauptmonitor: Ja

Synchronisierung: Aus

Eingeschaltet: Ja

Monitoranschluss:

But i have only 1024x768 and no other option ;)

Maybe someone can help me with it ?

Thank you in advance for your help!!

Cheers

Delete NVEnabler kext

Replace your boot.PLIST with mine (see attached). I have my file preset for 1920x1200 resolution. If yours is different, just change it and save

Reboot

Working fine here on Lion GM. Full QE/CI Support!

I have the EVGA GTX 275 896MB by the way.

Let me know if it works for you.

Hi,

I have a DELL XPS 420, but I don't thing motherboards matter in this case...I could be wrong though.

Anyway, I made a new Boot.plist for you to try. I used yours as a base and I added the EFI string for the GTX275, so it should work.

I saw that you were running in 32bit mode by the way. I'm running 64 bit mode? Maybe thats why you couldn't boot with my plist? IDK... Just a thought

Let me know how it goes...
