Blah101 Posted July 23, 2011 Share Posted July 23, 2011 I picked up a highpoint rocket 620 along with my Agility 3 in hopes of giving myself a bit of a speed boost. However, Lion sees the card as "Unrecognized", but it does also see it as 6 Gb/s connection. If it knows this, then does that mean I will be getting the maximum speed out of my drive? Obviously the controller on the card won't allow for speeds shown on the box, but something comparable to that should happen right? I did an xbench test and came out about 114 mb/s read and 110 mb/s write. Do I need any next or anything to aid this or is this just natural?
