Muhammad Umar Posted July 22, 2011 Share Posted July 22, 2011 I have successfully installed Snow Leopard but when i update it to 10.6.8 it freezes during installation. There is a kernel panic when it says Moving items into place. Is there any solution to this? I only need SL for Xcode 4. I am ok with installing only the 10.6.7 update, do you think that installation of 10.6.7 would be fine?i have the first generation core i3 processor not the sandy bridge. P.S: Can you please provide me a good tutorial as to how to clone my mac installation on to a USB? I have already installed SL twice.
