tobyx
Hi @ all, my Hackintosh is running 10.6.8 almost prefectly, everything works except LAN. My specs: - CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 2,66 GHz - RAM: 4GB DDR2 800 MHz - Motherboard: ASRock G31M-S R2.0 - Graphics card: Gainward GTX 460 OC Is it possible for me to buy Lion in the App Store and install it like it is described in this guide? Does the installation of Lion replace the drivers of my 10.6.8 installation? Thanks for your help! P.S.: Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Germany. I'm from America) You can indeed download 10.7 from the App Store and use xMove to install Lion. It is not guaranteed to work the same as 10.6.8. I had FEWER issues with the App Store under Lion than 10.6.8, but I like many people (including real mac owners) have not been able to get FaceTime to work under Retail Lion. If you use xMove follow the instructions EXACTLY. If you still have problems try mounting InstallESD.dmg.

My suggestion is to add another OS X partition in your drive if you have enough space and go from there to install OS X Lion.
