Anyone know if we get the dmg file, would we able to burn to dvd5 and install it from there?

or do we need dvd9 or usb 8gb?

Also anyone know if iaktos would get released soon for lion?

I already have SL hackintosh currently installed.

I would prefer if I could burn it to a dvd for permanent keep rather than usb 8gb which would mean I lose the usb flash drive, unless I reformat it again but then I would lose the lion installation files and need to do it again etc..

What is the best way to install Lion on SL 10.6.3?

Also with the current SL, my power button on the pc won't turn off SL, how do I fix this?

First, you cannot install OS X Lion on a SL 10.6.3; SL has to be and have to be 10.6.6 or higher, that is the OS X Lion requirement.

Yes, I am aware of that.

I plan to install a new installation.

I just want to know if we can burn to dvd or is it only via usb flashdrive etc.

Yes, it's possible to burn the .dmg to dvd. When you've downloaded the Lion Intstallation App, go to the Finder, right click the app and choose "show package contents". I can't recall the exact folder it is in, it's something like "Sharedsomething". You'll find the .dmg in there. I burned the .dmg myself and it boots fine via dvd.

I burned mine to a 4.7GB DVD-R, works fine. I didn't anything else than the .dmg.
