Broken nano

My nano has stopped showing up in iTunes, and I have read the Apple troubleshooting for this scenario, to no avail. It just isn't being recognised by the computer.

 

Anyone else had this problem? Very frustrating and I'm not sure if it's still under warranty.

Try the 5 R's!

 

* 1. Reset your iPod.

* 2. Retry with a different USB port.

* 3. Restart your computer.

* 4. Reinstall iPod and iTunes software.

* 5. Restore your iPod. --- only do if needed! dont really advise it!

 

 

Is there anyway you can try your ipod on someone else computer?
