I installed Lion GM using this method http://www.insanelym...howtopic=259068

One of the problems that is stopping me using Lion as my main OS at this moment in time is the long boot time - looks like it is loading in verbose mode all the time - loading all the extensions and boot times are 5-minutes (when booting off my external USB test HDD).

I have read about and it does seem others are having this problem but I cannot find an explanation as to what causes it and how to solve it (other than a method that involves adding a flag to ignore extensions - meaning you can't load them from E/E).

Any help appreciated.
