JoQ
Hi! Just bought a Intel X25-M G2 SSD disk and installed Lion on it, problem is that when I check the About this mac and reading about the disk in the SATA section, Protocol: ata, which is not right, should show SSD instead of ata? And on top of that there is not even a line that says TRIM, and if it's on or off. Tried Trim Enabler 1.2 and nothing shows up either. What can I do? Do I have a bad setting in BIOS (my motherboard GA-G31M-ES2L). Please help, thank you!

D-an-W
You might want to try 1.2 with the GM... http://www.groths.org/?p=

longtom
Anything to do after TRIM support enabled? Format SSD and reinstall from an other hd?
D-an-W
I did this... To TRIM your disk after enabling TRIM:1. Open Disk Utility 2. Select your SSD from the right-hand-side bar 3. Click "Erase" tab 4. Select "Erase Free Space..." 5. Select the fastest method (no need to add extra write cycles by doing it multiple times) and click "Erase Free Space" If you run Erase Free Space, you should run these commands in the terminal afterwards: sudo chown root:admin / sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel sudo kextcache -system-caches
