onelegend Posted July 14, 2011 Share Posted July 14, 2011 I installed OS X using Nawcom ModCD and the retail Snow Leopard disk Once I install those, I use The OSX 10.6.7 Combo Update to get the system to 10.6.7 After that, I can't seem to get the Bootloaders or the GFX card to work properly. I've tried using [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] to install [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and Chameleon. The [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] worked, and Chameleon installed, but it does not give me options boot. Just had a list that states boot0: test boot0: GPT boot0: test boot0: test boot0: GPT boot0: test boot0: test boot0: error I also tried to use tonymac's nvidia 2.1.0 Graphics installer, but it doesn't work. The installer completes, but when I restart the system, it still looks like there are no GFX kext loaded. Any solutions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jw382 Posted June 24, 2012 Share Posted June 24, 2012 I have L501X as well. The error means that you had a GPT disk. Boot into Windows and use a partition manager to convert the GPT disk back into MBR disk. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
