ipinz Posted July 10, 2011 Share Posted July 10, 2011 I've running SL iAtkos S3 10.6.3 on my system, working great! and recently updated to 10.6.8 without problem (only adding flag npci=0x2000 for fixing PCI config error). I'd tried installing Lion DP2 even DP4 (no idea for downloading GM version ) . No charm! System just quickly reboot when finished loading kext. Flag i was using: arch=i386 arch=x86_64 arch=x86_32 -v -f -s -usecache busratio=12.5 (my system using this ratio) but no hope something like "starting darwin x86_64" then reboot! yeah.. just reboot. pros: intel dualcore 2.5 Ghz E5200 (I read in net tut's that he installing lion with this pros) Mob: Biostar P4890 M7 I disabled SATA, LAN, SOUND in BIOS. Get it here . using this boot file for lion I still had to change out my XFX HD 5770 for an HIS ICEQ Turbo HD 5770 that I had lying around. The XFX wouldn't load the Framebuffer. Million thankss all,, using latest fakesmc 3.1 make it pass instant rebooting. After fixing ACPI & PCI error (again), now i'm stuck with "DSMOS has arrived" Nothing happens for minutes The answer is out there.. googling... Any idea? you need an updated boot file for chameleon. I'm using chameleon 2 RC 5 r1020. The problem is, when I'm try boot it in USB FD. My keyboard doesn't work. Just 1 letter typed then freeze or blank screen. Chrystopher Posted July 13, 2011 Share Posted July 13, 2011 Hey! Finally I've got my VTX 3D Radeon 5670/1GB VGA to work perfectly. Only tested on OSX 10.7 Lion DP2 and DP4. Everything works fine. VGA and HDMI output works OOB. HDMI recognizes my LG LCD TV and give fine support for tuning the screen but have no sound out via HDMI I had to add my cards device id(got it from W7) to the ATI5000Controller.kext . The card is 5670 but the right device id for it is 0x68B9 the vendor id is the standard 1002.
