myrorym
Will this combination work: Using an Apple 24" LED as a single monitor connected to DVI-D of GTX 470 via the mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter from Apple? If possible, does it require anything other than booting Chameleon with GraphicsEnabler=Yes? Would anyone suggest using a mini-HDMI < HDMI < mini-DP adapter instead? Thanks TY
Krazubu
Probably not, because apple DP adapter is probably proprietary with a special pinout for mac cards, as is the DVI to TV adapter for instance. 1 - I insist on the "probably" because I guess we just have no testimony, so we don't definitely know. 2 - My comparison with the sample of DVI to TV adapter is not completely right because having S-Video on DVI-I is much less natural than having backward compatibility of DP with DVI (what all PC cards already have, and apple wouldn't want to pay extras just for having their custom sh*t of what already exists) 3 - Apple is not always an ass (but often)
myrorym
I think I found a solution for this issue. People have been using 24 and 27" LEDs on PCs with this adapter. Atlona AT-DP200 or the AT-DP400. Anyone else using these? I've read of people using new LED ACDs with mic/speakers/iSight and all,,,, just on PC but haven't confirmed on a Hackintosh. Confirmation would help me pick one up and try. Craigslist has a no returns policy. Also with LION on the doorstep, I want to see it possible before I'm up the creek.
