Hi Guys,

my Hp 6720s motherboard died on me (with a perfect OSX 10.6.6install, fully functioning)

I now have a acer aspire 5742 i5

I have been able to install a retail 10.6.3 ,

##### to load usb DVD install

Installs perfect with no errors

i restart with ##### and boot into my new Snow leopard HD

go through all the setup and get to the osx desktop

I then use ##### 3.7.1 to install chameleon etc

but i cannot boot back into the HD once the ##### has finished and i have restarted

on the fresh install , prior to ##### post install

i do not have

Full Graphics (stuck at 1024x786)

Audio

Trackpad

webcam

wireless

here is a in depth detailed system overview of my hardware....also a zipped folder with larger resolution pics

I want to avoid using ##### , and install all my kexts and bootlaoder manually so i can ensure

the right kexts are being used and that the bootloader will work

or if anyone knows of a premade dsdt for this specific spec laptop that would also be of help.

thanks in advance and any pointers or help will be much apreciated
