joejoe317 Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 On my gigabyte board ga k8n51gmf-9 I am having problems only when QE CI is enabled cards tested 8600gts 8400gs Geforce 210 with the 8600gts the card would randomly shut off even during bios.. so i figured it was going bad, however when it did boot to 10.6.8 my mouse will jump all over the place. It is constant and does not happen when qe ci is enabled. tried efi nvenabler and adding device in kexts so i thought my card was dead.. I purchased a geforce 210 because i read it had pretty good compatibility. when i got qe ci working the card was SSSSSSSSSLLLLLOOOOWWWW like i would click on something and 5 mins later it would load... I then purchased a 8400gs I tried efi strings with no graphics enabler (yes would make it just boot to blue screen) putting id in kexts i tried nv enabler same thing is happining as the 8600gts where the mouse is jumping everwhere i tried removing AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext as some previous recommended with no resolution. im not sure if this is because its a amd cpu or what... all these cards work fine in my other hackintosh I have found some threads regarding this issue, however no resolution I have tried a ps2 mouse and 2 usb mice... one apple stock mouse too same issue xxxxxxxx if i try and update my bios will i need to make a new dsdt?
