TheFinale
My Dell Vostro 1510 Laptop seems unable to reboot under Mac OS X Lion GM. Instead of rebooting, it simply shuts down. Any idea what causes this? Both Installed Lion and the Install USB I've created do this. Leopard and Snow Leopard worked perfectly well. This, (and WiFi and Sound) is the only thing stopping me having a full Lion system. Edit: Got audio working with latest VoodooHDA.

I'm sorry, I'm not replying to give you a solution but to ask you what kind of Vostro 1510 you have, because it happens I have that computer too, running Snow Leopard for now. I have the one with the Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics, not the Nvidia GeForce GT 8400M, is it your cause? Because I always had to deal with problems with the integrated screen and I'm wondering if you managed to get it to work. Thanks! :-)

Needed to set Graphics Mode = 1280x800x32 in com.apple.Boot.plist under Lion, but other than that, no modifications needed. Perfect little hackbook for under £300, if runs a little hot. kkffiirr
tchnunz, use the guide in sticky, it worked. i also own vostro 1510 with nvidia graphics, installed Lion GM and everything works but: the touchpad is not as it should be, weird scrolling, no tap, and when i put the cursor down it sometimes reapper in the center (i installed voodoops2) the bluetooth don't seem to be working the wired and the wireless network don't work the annoying "searching for bluetooth keyboard" message keep poping each time i start the system. no reboot. did any of you have solution for those? mathq
The keyboard problem could be fixed by going to "System Preferences" in the "Bluetooth" preference pane then in Advanced, unchecking the option saying to open up the Bluetooth configuration window if no keyboard and mouse were found. For the reboot issue, you could enable the fix in Chameleon if it's not already done. Download Champlist or modify the Info.plist to do so.
