calvonicreaction Posted July 3, 2011 Share Posted July 3, 2011 So Ive been trying to install a mac os on my computers for a couple years now and ive never succeed. Each year ive gotten closer and closer, and with this laptop ive gotten it to install and boot. But the problem is that I can only boot in safe mode, so when it boots the only way to see the desktop is to hit -x and then it works but I dont have internet or anything really else. Ive tried many different versions of mac but its never seem to work. My specs are: Amd Phenom II x4, 4gb ram, 600gb hdd, ATI mobility Radeon HD 4200 I dont know what else is really important, but if someone can help me figure out whats wrong or if my computer isnt compatible or something like that then that would be a great deal of help. wardo1254 Posted July 17, 2011 Share Posted July 17, 2011 I have a similar laptop as yours (5552) except that mine has a AMD Athlon X2 processor and Mobility Radeon Hd 4250 instead.
