I'm going to buy a notebook this summer (for use with Mac OS X), but I would like to know if anyone has tried modding a retail bought (like from Best Buy or Fry's) 15" or 17" HP notebook with a 1080p display. Since they just released updated notebook hardware with 1080p in the high performance line, has anyone done it yet?

i think im the only one here who does notebook mods, correct me if im wrong.

anyway do you meen swap displays? or the whole mobo?
