I posted this in the new users lounge a few days ago but very little views and no responses so hoping this section of the forums may shed some light on my questions.

I have an ASUS G51VX-R05 with the following specs

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M

15.6" HD 1366x768 LED LCD

Intel Core 2 T9900 (3.06GHz)

6GB Ram

1st Hard Drive Bay- 320GB -Windows 7 Ultimate

2nd Hard Drive Bay- 320GB - Blank (Hope to put OSX on this drive)

intel 5100 or Atheros Wireless Card (I'll get back on part number)

Now I have done my research but it seems like it's all old information from like 2009. With all the current changes can anyone please shed some light on this install. I am fairly tech savvy but I'll admit with all the old information out there mixed with the new it's fairly easy to get lost. So if anyone can shed CURRENT detailed info I would incredibly greatful.

I'm hoping since I'm installing on a seperate Hardrive this should go relatively smooth for dual booting and such.

I installed snow on this laptop for a friend it runs nicely I can point you in the direction first use nawcoms boot disk and retail 10.6.3 snow you will have to boot with cpus=1 and maxmem=4096 after the install download and install the update right away and create a DSDT patch you will always have to boot with cpus=1 after the update install Chameleon get the thing booting on its own and then start looking for kexts/hacks to fine tune the wireless card will never work I replaced it with atheros 9280 ($20 USD Ebay) if you are going to put it on the second HDD (I had trouble with this one) after you install second HDD boot into BIOS and select "load user defaults" or you will not be able to boot from that drive let me know when you get that far and message me
