I tried a lot to install Mac OS X on my laptop but each time after successful installation i get error kernel panic or "DSMOS arrived" and all other kind of errors (on restart). Can you please help me out with this please give a detailed view of what options to select in "customize" while installing and what method or distro(i_ATKOS v7, iDeneb, etc.) should I use. Simply stop using "Distros" that have so many {censored} in them that nobody knows what to select and what not. It is also pirating which is not nice. Get #####.iso and ##### from tonymacx86 forum and a real Snow DVD from the store. That's enough to let you install. Boot with ##### CD, swap for the SL dvd, then run ##### , install only FakeSMC, Sound, Network and see if it has something for your graphics. If not you must tinker with the AtiFramebuffers for yourself and edit the ATI kexts. I have a 4650 mobility, it works only with my very own solution ( see my postings ). Intel 5100 AGN wont work. Someone claimed to work on drivers, but he is never coming out with them. The iwidarwin project at google code tried to port the BSD drivers over to OSX, also not working. Believe me, I waited over one year for that to happen. Replace the Wifi with a 3rd party internal ( pci express full or half sized broadcom/Atheros based ) or USB wifi. there are cheap 608 labeled USB sticks from sitecom that use ralink rt2870 chipset and work with official software under 10.3,10.4,10.5 and 10.6 ( x64 too ). 10 Euro or so. Its cheaper and less stress to the nerves then to work with broken and never working projects..

But let me tell one more thing that my BIOS is of American Megatrends v2.5. It doesn't show any options to modify which are shown on tonymacx86. So can you tell me what should I do with this thing and one more thing I installed with ##### too but after install I get stucked on apple logo screen or with a kernel panic(on using different flags like : -v or -v -x or -v arch=i386 cpus=1 maxmem=2048). And you have written that " Boot with ##### CD, swap for the SL dvd, then run ##### ". So as this is a post install operation(as much as I know). My doubt is that after installation I have to do boot from Snow Leopard DVD again like I did at the time of installation(I mean swapping ##### cd with Snow Leopard DVD). And thanks for the reply.
