Aju Deeju Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 I installed OSX SL and everything seems to work except my wireless card........which is detected in system profiler ... but airport doesn't recognise it.........I tried every single tutorial on it still doesn't work........Plzzzz help me wat to do??? Edit: Finally solved it. The problem was with the architecture. After a lot of searching got it. 1)Download and install the driver attached below. 2)Reboot with boot flags arch=i386 3)Open terminal and type in: # cd /System/Library/Extensions # sudo chmod -R 755 rtl8187l.kext # sudo chown -R 0:0 rtl8187l.kext # exit 4) Reboot again with boot flag arch=i386 It works.....please try it and post results And Airport does not support rtl8187l Realtek_RTL8187.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
