sthomp001 Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 I have a HP DV8t-1000 with the nVidia gt 230m graphics card. It works fine on my laptop, but when I connect my HDMI cable to my HP2048 monitor, all I see is the Mac default background, no icons or desktop. The background on my laptop is the Snow Leopard. When I check the graphics card in the system profiler it shows that the driver for the GT230m is not installed. I used Mammoth's installation guides to get Mac OS X 10.6.7 running to this point. I tried some different settings in System Preferences > Displays to no avail. Anyone else have this problems after initial setup? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
