So I'm quite new to the OSx86 scene. I decided to go with iDeneb 1.6 10.5.8, Leopard distro. I have seemed to get my system working more or less... so far anyways. The only issue I'm having is getting support for my XFX 5670HD 1GB Card. I'm currently stuck at a resolution of 1024x768, and it looks horrible on my 22" TV/Monitor. I have read many posts about support in SL, but I need Leopard for the simple fact that very little of my hardware is compatible in SL. I have tried the kext that has support for most Ati 5xxx cards, as well as many others, but no luck. Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm interested in this too as I have the same graphics card, running 1 monitor from DVI, and OS 10.6.8. Using Chimera 1.4.1 right now which automatically loads the Baboon frame buffer allows the card to load but with glitches.

With Baboon it seems like I can change resolutions and that QE is enabled but the screen sporadically turns all black and comes back and eventually the entire screen turns into colorful noise. The actual computer is still running and I can VNC into it and continue to work.

I've been working my way through other frame buffers for the 5xxx series cards but none seem like the correct one yet. Many report the card as a 5000 card and have the same glitches. Baboon loads and System Profilers lists the card correctly as a 5600 card.

I have more frame buffers to try and many threads to read that are bookmarked but any tips are appreciated.
