Rashed Alee Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 I have a pre-installed MAC OS X Snow Leopard VMWare Virtual Machine. When trying to boot it gives me the following error. "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. You will need to power off or reset the virtual machine at this point." I have the following specs, configurations and environment. DELL N5110 Corei5 Sandy Bridge (Processor Number: 2410M) Running Windows 7 Ultimate - 64bit VMWare Workstation 7.1.4 Could somebody help me on this? Rashed Alee Posted June 17, 2011 Author Share Posted June 17, 2011 I forgot to mention that i got it working on my other machine that is DELL N5010, 480M Processor Windows 7 Ultimate 7 VMWare Workstation but i am getting error on laptop mentioned in the above post. Yes Virtualization is Enabled in BIOS. But i am not sure how to check if it is enabled in VMWare :s and yeah i have SpeedStep disabled in BIOS.
