mysteryjon Posted June 14, 2011 Share Posted June 14, 2011 So hi everybody here, i'm trying to install 10.6 on my girlfriends laptop, did a retail install, it boots, just that i won't get 1280x800 resolution, no wifi and no ethernet. so i tried to modify my dsdt and still won't work. so i really hope that someone from here could guide me through. anyway here's its graphics spec, Intel GMA X3100: Chipset Model: GMA X3100 Type: GPU Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 144 MB Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x2a02 Revision ID: 0x0003 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1280 x 768 @ 60 Hz Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Built-In: Yes Display Connector: Status: No Display Connected i also uploaded my dsdt.aml , hope this would help as well. btw i tried replacing the x3100 kext, and apparently because my x3100 has a different revision id, i can't just use the AppleIntelX3100FB.kext , i need to modify my dsdt am i right? dsdt.aml.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
