What am I doing wrong? I purchased OSX retail from the apple site. I popped the bootloader in the optical drive, booted into the menu. Replaced the disc with the osx install dvd. Press F5, it loaded it. Press enter and it starts showing all this text and after a few seconds the machine just reboots.



Tried: -x -v, platform=acpi.... and those just help it load more stuff but the machine still reboots. I can't even get to the apple loading screen or the setup. I even reset the bios, formatted the hard drive.. still doesnt go.
