Different size of ram problem

Hello,

First I had 2x 1gb ddr2 sticks and worked perfectly. Now I have extra 2gb in 1 stck, and put in 3rd slot for 4gb total. For example 1st - 1gb, 2nd - 1gb, 3rd - 2gb and system wont to boot, all time apple logo and no circle. If I leave 2x 1gb working, if 2gb alone in 1 slot working, but if 2x 1gb + 2gb don't work. It's x38 chipset, with 2x dual channel slots. A1 A2 and B1 B2.

Anyone have same problem ? It's possible to fix ?

helps if u use proper dsdt with the motherbord model, rev , bios version.

on some dsdts the ram used to extract dsdt makes difference. different memory count in dsdt.. extract yours and find a dsdt for your mobo and compare.
