pej02
I'm on my annual pilgrimage to try and find a decent non-Apple laptop (dual core i5 would be good) on which I can install and run Snow Leopard. I've looked through the laptop hardware compatibility lists but cannot see one which works out of the box - especially when it comes to the WiFi adapter. I noticed on another thread that the Packard Bell EasyNote TS11 (cannot recall the exact part number sorry) is a good candidate. Does anyone have any views on this and which model is best? I think it would be neat if there was a sticky on this thread with the most up to-date info on the keenest-price laptop which runs retail Snow Leopard (or the next one - Lion) with the minimal number of patches etc.
