Insomnia for Lion, Anyone ?

You might be able to do the same thing using the pmset command. Type man pmset at a terminal prompt to learn more.

Hey Gringo ...

That source works on Leopard and Snow by just loading it. It disables the sleep function completely without going to terminal or any apps to trigger it (thats one thing i liked about this kext).

In Lion, it just wont work /no effect.

You can do the same thing with pmset....Insomnia probably uses pmset to do what it does.

"man pmset" opens the manual for pmset so you can read about how to use it.

No kext required.
