Blah101
I ask because I attempted to play Half Life 2 and then the game crashed and it said something about a physics error. If this is related to acceleration I wanted to know if there is a possible fix, or if this is just something I will have to deal with until there is support. I can play on Windows, but if I didn't have to reboot everytime I wanted to play a game it would be better.
Gringo Vermelho
Left 4 Dead runs fine on my GTX 460 with no problems, although it will freeze between levels while loading if I don't keep VLC running in the background. It's a Source engine game like Half Life 2. AFAIK Source uses the Havok physics engine which runs on your CPU. It's possible that your issue is not related to your video card. Blah101
Is there anyway to determine what the issue might be? EDIT: I looked at the error again. Turns out it is an IVP error. Not quite sure what that is related to.
Gringo Vermelho
Try google-ing "Source Engine IVP failed error"
