Asus A6VM - Kernel Panic using battery

Hi there

 

I've setup osx 10.5.2 Leo4all on my Asus A6vm. With a little tweaking and a change of WIFI card everything is running nicely...except that if I try to start the laptop up using only the battery I get a Kernel Panic.

 

I'll put as much info as I can from the screen below. Hopefully it will help anyone who glances this way.

 

Any ideas on how to solve this issue? It's my last step to making my old laptop really work as a mac.
