Miranda
First excuse me if there are many errors in writing because I'm from Brazil and I'm not very good at English, so I'm using Google translator. I've been spending time in a Brazilian topics but I could not solve my problem. I bought an HP notebook in Australia, I'm trying to put OSX Snow Leopard Retail who bought directly from Apple's site in Brazil, tried to use several disks but no boot loaders mse served very well, what came closest was the Empire EFI. Whenever I start with a boot loader that can install, shows the wrong processor, the memory clock wrong, does not recognize the video card, mouse pad does not work, does not recognize the wireless and network Anyone who knows or has a similar notebook with dual boot Snow Leopard and Windows 7 Professional running perfectly could help me? Were you successful in getting it to work? I keep getting an error on boot up and sometimes when I can get in it runs very slowly I cannot continue. Any info on what you did to make it work on the 2119tx would be greatfully appreciated.
lifelike27
Sometimes when you first install OS X it doesn't recognize your RAM or CPU and full clock speed. On my hackintosh it recognized my RAM FSB at 800Mhz instead of 1333Mhz. You have to add a system definitions for it to recognize it. An easy way would be to use ##### under Customization -> System Definition. You seem to have the same processor as me so the MacBookPro 8,1 might be good for you as well. Maybe you could post some of the bootloaders you've tried so we all know which ones to recommend that you haven't tried? The main problem, most of the time, when installing a hackintosh is getting the graphics card to work. It's also one of the most important. Try a search for people who have the same graphics card as you and find out which bootloaders they've used to get their OSx86 running. Head to the tonymacx86 forum, that might be helpful. Though it's not as active as the insanelymac one.
