ren1974 Posted May 21, 2011 Share Posted May 21, 2011 Well my 9800 gt went down. Tower wont power up while the extra power lead is pluged in. So am in need of a replacement. I am thinking of getting a new board and processer, as well. But the graphics will have to come first, as i cant use the computer untill i do. My question is, what is the best card i can go for? I got about £150 to spend on this component, but I will be running a dual boot system, as I need windows for gaming and mac for FCP. The card must be fully compatable for both setups. I have had a bit of experience with hackintosh instalations, but have always had problems with the graphics, so i need something that pretty much works out the box. thanks for help in advance.
