3.14r2 Posted May 21, 2011 Share Posted May 21, 2011 I have had SL installed on IDE disk using MB with ICH5R southbridge (similar as in the MB you have http://www.asi.com.au/support/Drivers/Ivan...e7525gp2tps.pdf ). It works probably slightly better then leopard. You will need: pathed kernel properly patched DSDT (reboot fix and possibly some other stuff) LegacyAppleIntelPIIXATA.kext fakesmc UUID.kext (optional) other usual stuff (like SMBIOS) Though I'm not 100% positive on VGA/LAN/sound... The on-board LAN in my case works OOTB. I have PCI-E VGA (Nvidia 8 series) and PCI-X sound card both working with proper divers (NVEnabler&kXAudioDriver).
