It would be nice to have instead of the revision number, the full header example: (revision 999 :blink:)

Chameleon's revision on selected partition:

Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132 - Chameleon v2.0-RC5 r999 Build date: 2011-05-05

instead

Chameleon's revision on selected partition: 999

It would be useful for people like me who have such different bootloader on different partitions.

because some developers use to enter their name in the review...

but no idea how "grab" it from boot file...

Edit:

As you tell in PM there is "problem" with old Chameleon

My Hard Disk:

1) "Macintosh HD" Chameleon 2 RC5 rev 823 OK

2) "Server" Chameleon 2 RC5 rev 890 OK (It's a binedited boot to test this application)

3) "Snow Test" Chameleon 2 RC4 AsereBNL 1.1.9 No info showed

Try this new 1.8 build.

I don't have AsereBNL, so I can't test that, but it works well with Chameleon RC5.

Edit: If it won't work with AsereBNL, could you please send me that boot file? Maybe I will find a way to read data also from that bootloader.

Works!

THX

I post some screenshot!

Edit:

1) "Macintosh HD" Chameleon 2 RC5 rev 823

2) "Server" Chameleon 2 RC5 rev 890

3) "Snow Test" Chameleon 2 RC4 AsereBNL 1.1.9

PS: I using v1.8 beta and say me to update to v1.7, please check.

I know. It's because 1.8 isn't officially relased. It's still beta version.

I'm updating translations that you send me, testing new features etc.

1.8 will be officially released soon (I want to test one more thing with EFI partition support), and then automatic updates will work ok.

Updated, new pt_BR translation thanks slipttees

Fixed some issues with showing Chameleon details.

It is possible (your choice) to translate "Build date"

/* BuildDate */

"Build date" = "Build date";

BTW. I can't compile the latest trunk (884)... Xcode shows error and stops, and xcodebuild command shows me configuration screen, but It doesn't response to keys.

Edit: make seems to work...
