r00tlolz
So my laptop is almost a perfect hackbook right now (many thanks go to Maldon for editing my DSDT for me!). The only thing keeping me from using Mac as a primary OS is that right now, I have NO brightness control after boot. I can set it at boot (FN+Up/Down), but after that, I have no control over it. I've tried using Keyboard Maestro, and the brightness is ALWAYS locked to the setting at boot, and the HUD displays the lowest setting, and won't go higher or lower. If I suspend the computer, the display goes up to full. I have the brightness slider enabled in the Display section of System Preferences, but it's always locked to max, no matter what brightness I actually boot from. Can anyone help me? This really cuts into my laptop's already crappy battery life
