I have a Dell vostro 200, which i have upgraded with Core 2 duo 2.66GHz processor, 4GB corsair Ram and GTX 460.

I have tried varios methods to install SL 10.6.7 but only one that works is Dell i530 iso, and i have to boot from the CD every time.

But i can't get GTX 460 enabled.

my problems so far.

my OSX DVD for some reason can't see my SATA drives whether i boot from i530.iso or #####.iso

so i am using installing it in a usb HDD. not ##### can't see USB drives so i am left with i530.iso

Using this i530 and HDD atached to USB i can install OSX all the way up to desktop and then install the combo 10.6.7 update.

If i only install the Audio and Ethernet kexts from #####, i get sound and internet. i can't install chameleon because as soon as i do it, my USB drive would become unbootable, so much so, that i cant even get to the bios screen with the USB HDD attached to the PC.

I understand from the forums that to enable GTX 460 i need to have chameleon RC5 installed on the HDD.

I am stuck here, trying to get the graphics enabled.

BTW i would also like help in enabling SATA on my hackintosh. currently my OSX install can't see my SATA drives or my Optical drive.

I am new to hackintosh and OSX so don't know much about editing the OS to get things running, and would appreciate any help provided.
