theloniusmonk Posted May 11, 2011 Share Posted May 11, 2011 Why does EFI Graphic Strings always crash my HP DC7800 Hackintosh? I have everything installed successfully except my PNY nVIDIA GeForce 8400GS card. EFI Strings using OSXTools or EFIStudio from Hazard 10.6.2 install always gives me the "You need to reboot....etc" screen. I have read a lot of instructions and have tried the least complex of them. I need a proper installation using the quartz graphics thing so I can install LOGIC Studio. My boot screen says PCEFI 10.5 so am I using EFI? Does it depend on the Intel MB Chipset?
