Installed on AMD - few bits to do, need some help

So I have completed the installation on my Acer 5551.

 

If anyone can help with any of the below that would be great;

 

1) mouse cursor is a 1"x1" square

2) no lan connection (Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet)

3) no wireless connection (Broadcom 802.1 in Network Adapter)

4) mic is on and gives feedback (very loud)

 

Also, when I shut down and restart it takes a long time and goes through all the text with the cameleon at the top. It also gets to "ACPI: System State...." and then I have to plug in and unplug a USB device to get things moving to the next stage.

 

I'm sure there are other bits I need to do, but these 4 are the most pressing ones for now. Very difficult to do anything without any form of internet connection!

 

So near, yet so far!
